Shock hit him like a ton of bricks. So she didn't think he was lying, well that was a good thing. He smiled at her sweetly and noticed she didn't really seem as nervous as she was before. This time, she actually managed to spit out a full sentence. "Well thats good. I'd feel bad if you did. I'm sorry I interrupted your reading..."
His german accent just a little noticeable. That was another reason why he never talked, he was still scarred from when his siblings would make fun of him for the German accent he was born with. But he couldn't help it, when he was little he was taught German in the orphanage in Berlin. It wasn't like he just did it for the hell of it. He hoped she didn't make fun of him too, that would probably just make him sink back into the corner again. Jayson felt horrible, almost like he needed to like just apologize his ass off for something he didn't even do. He watched her slowly start to break down, and inside he was panicking. Does he say something? Or does he just sit there so he doesn't add on to the situation. When she spoke he nodded his head a little, trying to figure out what exactly it was that she meant. Nothing unusual, but bad. Like really, really bad. So what did that mean? Jayson was almost afraid to ask. When Larkin spoke again he wanted to put his arm around her or something. But honestly, Jayson was afraid of doing that. So instead he smiled at her. "Don't worry, I don't think any different of you Larkin." He wanted to reassure her that she at least had someone to confide in, that was actually going to listen to her when she talked. It was scary for Jayson, to see someone in pain and actually want to help them. He just didn't know how to help this girl if he wasn't even sure what was wrong. Did he like hug her and be the shoulder to cry on? Even if he did hug her, would she slap him or turn away? Jayson was in a mix of emotions that he never felt before, and inside he was petrified. Hearing him speak a few words than before she started detecting something in his voice. It was a accent. Something Larkin’s mother had when she came over from Romania to the states. She remembered it as a young kid. Accents were always something that she liked. She knew most of them, considering she studied the world cultures and stuff when she was in school. She just smiled back at him and looked down at her hands. “I like your accent. My mom, she was Romanian...she had one too...I’ve always liked them. Germans have nice ones though.” She said as she smiled at him. “You...didn’t interrupt anything though, I was lost in my own...world, didn’t really notice anything till you started playing guitar...that...was my favorite song...well on of them. The Day I left the Womb.” She said as looked down at her hands. This was, well the most she ever talked in a full five minutes. She was surprised even though her voice hadn’t risen above a whisper. She was still surprised with herself.
She always had a hard time speaking about her past. It was just terrifying to her. She didn’t know what to do. She blamed it all on herself. She never talked about it unless a psychologist asked her if she remembered anything. She would answer with a yes, lots and lots of blood. “...You might after this though.” She said as she tried to calm herself down and stared at the ceiling. “ My dad and my mom...Well, I don’t know my dad at all...he left us. My mom became some drug informant for the cops..Selling drugs to catch people. I was three or four when her and her three friends were murdered by three guys with chainsaws in front of me. I was left there soaking in there blood for days till the cops found me. No one wanted me, I had no living relatives so they send me off to a orphanage.” She had to stop a moment to breathe, realizing she was holding her breath and exhaled softly. “I was there till I was ten when a family took me in. Their son raped me while the father hit me. Suddenly he pulled a knife out on the wife and son and I was in the same situation when I was three or four..except this time my fear of blood had me passing out in the room and they didn’t find me till the husband called the cops and then shot himself.” She spoke, uneasy about this. He was going to think everything was her fault. “A family, a nice family took me in. That’s when I started seeing things...blood covering every surface. A skeleton follows me. I can’t sleep because I’m afraid of the nightmares I get. They sent me here after I attacked a classmate because I thought a train was coming after him.” She looked down at her hands. “I believe it was all my fault it all happened.” The last part was quieter than her normal soft voice. Almost inaudible.

Not many people knew that Jayson had a german accent. Then again not many people knew that Jay even had a voice. So when he talked to the point where his accent was showing, it kind of surprised him. He felt like she was going to tease him for it, or laugh because some of the letter weren't pronounced the right way. But to his surprise, she actually liked it. His eyes widened a little at her statement and he looked over at her. Shock was still written all over his face. "Really? You don't think it's like... Stupid or anything?"
That's the way Jayson was, someone could compliment him and instead of taking it he would just ask them twenty times to make sure they really meant it. "I can play a bunch of different songs. I like a lot of old Escape The Fate, Black Veil Brides, Avenged Sevenfold, and some Framing Hanley." Jayson was always proud of his guitar playing. He was big on music, it was something that took him out of this world and into his own. So naturally it would make sense for him to learn it. He couldn't help it. Jayson just wanted to hug her and make the look on her face go away. It was like watching a puppy being tortured to death. Jayson was big on animals, so that made things even worse. After listening to what she had told him about her past, Jayson got up and moved closer to her. He placed his arm carefully around her shoulders. How could she blame herself for all that? She didn't ask for it, at least he didn't think she did. "I'm sorry they hurt you Larkin..." He didn't know what else to say. What do you even say to someone that just told you all of that? It took a few minutes for it to settle into his brain. Now he understood why she was so afraid, why she thought everyone hated her. But that didn't change anything about Jayson, he still liked her. He still wanted to be her friend, probably more now then before. "I'd never hurt you like that... I hope you know that..." His quiet voice barely even above a whisper now. Honesty showed in his voice, and he only hoped she noticed that too. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

She wished she had a accent. She didn’t know why people were ashamed of them. She just couldn’t understand it. So when he asked her questions she shook her head. “ Why would I think that? ” She asked, tilting her head to the side to stare at him a little. His eyes, were...really nice. Bright blue. She wished she had them, but she was stuck with these unnatural emerald green eyes. His were better by her opinion. She stretched out her legs, letting them unfold from being kept to her chest as he listed what music he could play. She couldn’t help but sit up a little straighter. “That song, You by Framing Hanley...is my favorite song...along with Alone In This Bed and Morticians daughter by Black Veil Brides.” She said with a smile. She liked someone that played that kind of music. She could relate to it. She kept a tiny ipod with her to play music all the time so she could just so she could block everyone out and think. Even though, sometimes it was her own that caused her to plug her ear buds in and ignore their voices as she listened to someone else’s. It made her feel better in the end, thankfully.
After that she just kept her eyes on the ceiling till she looked down at her hands and bit her lip hard. She felt horrible. Like always except this caused a sinking in her stomach and a bunch of nerves to twist together. She kept her eyes on a thread that was swaying in the air as she started playing with her necklace and stopped to go to nervously playing with her necklace, she didn’t notice him move next to her. She felt his presence and looked over at him as she felt the weight of his arm placed around her shoulder. She leaned into him a little, she never...really had someone other than family give her a hug, much less in a short amount of time of knowing them. She blinked as she looked at him and carefully shook her head. “It doesn’t matter it’s over now. Hopefully.” She said as she sighed softly. Her head was almost clear, talking about her past always gave her a sense of clarity as she sat there with his arm around her shoulder. She felt safe and when she spoke she smiled softly. “Thanks, it means...a lot.” She said as she stared at him. She wanted to keep him as her friend. She grown comfortable with him within the time they met, she let him touch her and he was a guy, that had to be some sign that she wanted him to stay.

A smile formed on Jaysons face when she told him that she liked the same music that he did. It wasn't that often that he had found someone with the same music taste as him. It was just another thing to add to the list of things he liked about Larkin. He got off the bed and walked over to his guitar. Picking it up carefully Jayson walked back over to the bed and sat down. He started strumming it and soon the melody to You by Framing Hanley filled the room. He decided to play that one cause she said it was her favorite song by them. "If you're still up for chasing dreams I've got a bottle, two glasses and a backseat..."
Jayson started to sing the words, almost perfectly. He must've played this song a million times, so he knew every part by heart. He kept his eyes on Larkin and smiled while he sang the words. It was very rare that he ever played guitar for someone and sang at the same time, so she should feel special. He hoped she liked the playing, and wasn't secretly making fun of him in her head. When he finished the song he placed the guitar back on the ground and looked over at her, a smile still shown on his face. "Did you like it?" He was almost afraid to ask, but at the same time he wanted to know. He kept his arm wrapped around her shoulders and smiled softy as she leaned into him. For some reason, this didn't bother Jayson. He felt more relaxed to know that something he was doing was actually working and not just making things worse. He stared down at her as she spoke and held her just a little tighter. He felt the need to protect her, but wasn't entirely sure why. Maybe because he felt if he didn't, no one would and he didn't like that. She needed to be protected from all the bad things, and Jayson was going to be the one to do that. "It is over now, I'm not going to let anything happen to you." He said quietly as usual. He wanted her to feel safe with him, he wasn't going to try and pull anything. He just wanted her to be okay, even if it meant he wasn't going to be. His nerves were doing flips in his stomache, but this feeling was so new to him he didn't know what it was. The idea of friendship naturally scared him, but he was pretty sure she wouldn't do anything to him. "Anytime, love." Love? What? Where did that nickname come from? Jayson wasn't really sure, but he didn't really care. He thought it was kind of cute that he gave her a nickname, he just hoped she didn't get creeped out by it. She felt better, much better but watched Jayson get up. She thought he was going to leave but then saw him grab the guitar and walk up to her with it and sitting down back where he was before. He started playing and she knew the song from the start. She stared at him, with...something new? She couldn’t help but get this odd feeling, pulling at her heart as she smiled at him. He was amazing right now, Larkin felt like she was happy for once, hearing him sing and play that song to her, which was something she loved entirely. She always wanted someone to play it for her, always did. When he stopped she wanted to put him on repeat so he could play it again. When he asked if she liked it her eyes widened. “I loved it...I wish I...I could put you on repeat.” She said as her cheeks colored in red. She shook the hair into her face to cover up her flaming cheeks.
Larkin never blushed, she knew what is was as soon as her cheeks heated up as she moved closer to him, feeling pulled to him as he held her tighter. Feeling his arm around her had her smiling a little, most unnoticeable by anyone as she tucked her head underneath his chin as his throat vibrated when he spoke. “ I...I don’t want you to get in trouble if something does though.” She bit down on her lip. She was always thinking about others before herself. She cared way too much about other people and she was beginning to care a lot for Jayson who she felt safe with. Although, she was convinced something would come along and destroy it. She just wanted to keep it now. Till that thing did come along, she wanted to feel safe for a little while. All this thinking had her zone out till she heard him speak, it seemed to pull her out of her thoughts all the time and she didn’t mind, but the word love left her mouth and she felt her heart almost break her ribcage. Yes, she knew he didn’t mean it that way but still. The reaction to it felt odd and she didn’t know what to say so she just looked up at him and wrapped her arms around his neck, giving him a hug, not knowing when to pull away.

Jayson watched Larkins eyes the whole time he played. It was like watching a little kid on christmas by the way she looked at him. It caused him to get butterflies in his stomach. Which was a weird feeling for Jayson that he never got before. When she told him she wanted to put him on repeat he chuckled. He thought when she blushed it was cute. "Well then, if you love it so much. Maybe I'll play another one for you"
He said winking at her and leaning down to pick the guitar up again. He liked that he was able to act himself around Larkin, it was something he wasn't used to. He could never be himself with anyone, so it was a nice feeling to be able to have that. He started strumming random chords again until he finally picked a song. "I open my lungs dear, I sing this song at funerals, no rush." He started singing the lyrics to The Morticians Daughter by Black Veil Brides. He figured if he was going to play a song for her, it might as well be one that she liked. Just like last time, Jayson kept his eyes on her as he played. A grin on his face the whole time. Thats right, a grin. Something Jayson never even did before he met Larkin. He felt her cuddle into him more, and his heart kicked into overdrive. He hoped she couldn't feel it. It felt as if it was going to break through his chest and circle the room a few hundred times. She tucked her head under his neck and he smiled widely. It was a good thing she didn't see that cause Jay probably would've been embarrassed after that. "Don't worry about me sweetie, nothings going to happen to me either. I promise." And Jayson would do whatever it takes to keep that promise. He normally wasn't one for promises, especially ones he had no control over. But for some reason he really felt he could keep this one. Jayson wrapped his other arm around Larkins waist when she wrapped her arms around him. He felt a lot more relaxed now that he was able to hold her. He rested his head on top of hers and sighed, still smiling from ear to ear. [/blockquote][/blockquote]

She could feel his eyes on her and her cheeks were already flaming enough. Sometimes she wished she could control herself but seeing as she was obnoxiously pale. That wouldn’t work. The color was probably still showing as she smiled at him, trying to play it off but she knew she couldn’t. He spoke and she laughed softly. “...You know you don’t have to.” She said as she felt sorta odd having him play all this music for her. Sure, it was making her fall a little bit for him, okay a lot for him. She didn’t want to stop him but felt like she had to let him know he didn’t have to play. But when he started playing Mortician’s daughter with the grin on his face well, she couldn’t stop staring at him. Her eyes stared into his bright blue ones as she couldn’t help but get lost in them. As cliche as it was, she felt her stomach flip as she looked at him. She was being stupid though. She couldn’t possible have what did people call it? A crush only after a few hours of knowing him. It was impossible. She knew it herself. Love didn’t exist either. Sure you could love your favorite band. But that was a band and that would be a infatuation. It just didn’t work.
She could feel her heart racing as she struggled to slow it down. She didn’t like this feeling and liked it at the same time. It was just a crush, something you get when you realize the person and you have a lot in common. Right? Right. She took a deep breathe and could hear her own racing heart beat or was that his? Because her ear was on his skin near his chest and she could hear it perfectly. She nodded her head when he spoke. “T-thank you” She didn’t know why she was back to stuttering maybe because she talked without stuttering for too long and her mind was just overwhelmed with feelings. She felt his arm wrap around her waist as she moved slightly into his lap, closing her eyes, she couldn’t help but feel nervous. But it was fine, she was fine. He wasn’t going to hurt her.

He knew he didn't have to play for her, but Jayson wanted to. He loved the look on her face while he played, he knew it made her happy and thats what Jay liked. If Larkin was happy with him playing the guitar for her, then Jay would play all night. Just so he could keep that smile on her face. He noticed he was making her blush so he winked at her again. After he finished playing The Morticians Daughter, Jay went right into playing Alone In This Bed. It was kind of ironic cause they were both sitting on a bed and if she left him he'd be lonely. He shook his head a little at the stupid thought and his hair fell into his eyes a little bit. He was too busy playing the guitar that he wasn't able to shake it out of his eyes, but he didn't care.
If Jayson could, he would stay like this forever. He was so comfortable and content with Larkin in his arms that he could fall asleep. He closed his eyes and tightened his grip on her just a little bit. Kind of like a child with their favorite teddy bear, Larkin to Jay was his favorite teddy bear. His human teddy bear with the cute rosy cheeks, beautiful eyes, soft skin.. Jayson mentally slapped himself, his heart beat increasing with each thought. It was true, Jayson was developing a crush on the girl that was comfortably laying in his lap. He couldn't help smiling, Larkin was like an angel sent to him. To give him that little bit of hope that there was someone else out there like him. Someone he could be himself around and not have to worry about anything. He just hoped she'd stay around for a while and that after they left this room she wouldn't forget him. 'Cause he sure as hell wasn't going to forget about her. "Are you comfortable, love?" If she wasn't comfortable then naturally he would let her go of course. He wouldn't want to, but he would anyway. He couldn't help but call her love, he thought it was the cutest thing. He never had someone that he could call a nickname, so now that he did it made him a little happier each time he said it.

She didn’t know how long they had been in that room together. She was pretty sure it’s been a while. She wasn’t sure if people were looking for them and she hoped to hell that people weren’t because she was perfectly happy staying down there. Happy, a word she hadn’t used for a while and she was using it right now. It scared her a little, knowing she was happy because of one person. It was a little odd too, she had to admit as he winked at her again and she couldn’t stop herself from blushing as he started playing alone in this bed. God, he was terribly good at guitar and it just made her like him even more. She liked the way his hair fell into his eyes while he was playing. It just drew her in, but she did have the urge to go and move it out of his ice blue eyes but held herself back. It wasn’t like hers, where she had to movie it every five minutes because it just screwed with her entire vision when tiny black strands poked at her retinas.
This, sitting here in his lap. Was so much better than being in the room alone or out there. Larkin was never the one to want human contact exactly and now this, this was some contact she went as she held onto him like a koala. Not too tightly but she wonder if he did stand up and she wrapped her legs around his waist would she hang off of him like one? She wasn’t going to ask him to try as she buried her head into his neck and closed her eyes. “Yeah, I am” Her words came out in a mumble though as she played with his hair. It was unexpected of her to do this. She never had interaction like this, she was only doing what felt natural to her, even though this would usually freak her out. She was feeling quite fine right now. Her heart rate was in order, she wasn’t nervous she was kinda tired because usually when her emotions ran wild they tended to tire her out. But she wasn’t leaving till he wanted to.

Hours felt like minutes to Jayson, he was having so much fun here with Larkin he didn't want to leave. He would stay in this one room until he was forced out. He thought about another song he could play for her but he was coming up empty. He watched as her cheeks got an even darker red and he couldn't help it. He leaned over and kissed her on her cheek. Which in turn made his own cheeks flush red. He leaned back so he was sitting up again and started playing the song "Baby We're Invincible" by A Rocket To The Moon. It was different then the other songs he was playing, but he thought it was a cute song to sing to her.
Jayson was never the type of person to want to be cuddled. He may have wanted attention from his family, but from everyone else he didn't want to be bothered. So it came to a surprise to him that he actually enjoyed cuddling with Larkin so much. She was warm, so he snuggled a little closer to her. He smiled when she said she was comfortable and kissed the top of her head. He didn't understand why he was being so cute with her, he was supposed to be a loner. Somone that didn't want to be around people or talk to anyone. Jayson hadn't talked in almost a month before he met Larkin, now he was joking and laughing. It was so alien to him, but he liked it. He liked Larkin. His eyes widened when that thought popped into his head, he couldn't even deny it either. He had a crush on Larkin, a big crush as a matter of fact. He just wondered if she felt the same way about him. He would never have the courage to ask her though.

Larkin was trying to concentrate on her red cheeks. She was seriously, trying not to blush so much, but that was impossible right now because she could feel the heat coming off her cheeks as she went to push the hair out of her eyes. She looked up at him and smiled, trying to play it off and it wasn’t worked because he decided to lean in and kiss her cheek then started singing to her. She recognized the song, music was a big part in her life, still was. She didn’t know how she would ever live without it. She always took pity on deaf people because they couldn’t hear music. Running a hand through her hair and smiling at him, Larkin realized how odd this was. She never ever acted this way, especially when someone kissed her cheek because, she freaked out. Ever since her foster brother raped her she had been a little hesitant towards human contact. But she was feeling comfortable with Jayson. It was a odd feeling in all honesty, she hadn’t felt this ever.
He was warm, she was use to the cold of no one sitting there. The only warmness she ever got was from a blanket that she held around when she slept or a hoodie that she always had on her. Not because it was cold but because it provided some kind of security for her. But this, this was a different sort of security. This security was actually alive and breathing. She let her head rest on his chest when she looked up at the clock and sighed. “I should leave soon, I have a appointment for something.” She mumbled, looking up at him and gave him a sad smile. “We...should..um, meet here...or something...I don’t know but I like talking to you” She said as she pulled away slightly as she wanted to be closer to him. She knew she had to leave though and she was quite unhappy about that. She didn't want to leave him, not right now at least.
